I've been painting and crafting most of my life, doing fairs, show and events, running my own business while I was holding down a full time job. I became unemployed for a short time and was offered the opportunity to get my degree in Multimedia with a focus on Graphic Design. While completing my classes online I did some contract work for SeaNav, doing design work for their website. A few months before I completed the program in spring of 2017  I started working in a print shop doing graphic design, photo editing and simple websites. Just a few months later I got the opportunity to become part of the Seattle's iconic Pike Place Market in August of 2017, back to being my own boss and doing what I love to do was a dream come true, hand making new plush, designer rag dolls, painting in acrylics and creating lots of other exciting art! I immediately quit my job and went full time being a craft vendor at Pike Place Market! It has been overwhelming, challenging and tons of work but it has definitely been worth every challenge I've had to overcome! Then COVID-19 came and the iconic market place temporarily shut down. Due to COVID-19 I wasn't able to vend at the market until it was over or at least under control. Before that day could come I made the decision to move to Newport, Oregon. I am still creating, I can't imagine not doing that! I just make it to order now!
I paint in acrylics, pastels and oils but I prefer acrylics over all. I craft using unique fabrics and faux furs designing and hand making crazy fun plush characters and dolls. I repurpose old dolls into wine stoppers, blockheads, ornaments and other fun items! I also make custom designs from your ideas or create a fun plush character from your drawing or image at a reasonable rate!
